Unit 1 Reflection ( culture)

Reflection:

Pop culture is made from 2 different word Popular and Culture. Popular means a lot of people know about it or common to people and culture is a behavior or believes that people have. We can define culture as an iceberg. We all know that some part of the ice berg is above the sea. We can split the part that above the sea into 2 piece. That is formal culture and Technical culture. Formal culture is all about rules that we know but we don’t know what the reason for that rules for example is folk dancing and ritual in a culture. Technical culture is we know all the rules and we know too the reason about the rules for example is work, or wedding. The part below the sea is called Deep Culture or Informal culture. This part is really blurred to people and it has 90% off the ice berg. Usually people learn it by imitating other people for example friendship or child rising. Main stream is where a lot of people do that. Culture has 4 elements that are Inculturation, Shared, Symbolically express and adaptive. Pop Culture has 4 elements which are objects for example is rap songs, film and etc. The second one is People many people affect our life for example for me Eminem is one of the people that affect my life he makes me like a rap songs. The third is events, events can affect a lot of people life too for example is the super bowl night where party in every places especially the winning team. Last is places, places can affect a lot of people behavior if you live in US you always hear rap music around you.
